The New York Times calls Dash Rip Rock "the kind of band that provides a lesson in American rock-and-roll history...skillful musicians with a penchant for getting reliably wild...." In 2012 Dash Rip Rock was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame and honored for their contribution to the state's music.
