Sherman Downey and the Ambiguous Case is a band from Newfoundland, Canada. Their music has a melodic roots-rock sound which embraces folk, pop and country genres. The band's debut release was Honey for Bees in 2010. The band's second album, The Sun in Your Eyes, was released in November 2013. The new album has everything folks have come to expect from Sherman and the boys - banjos, accordions, catchy melodies, smart lyrics, energy and a hint of lament.
