First concert when I was 6, but I really fell in love with live shows after going to Lollapalooza in 1995 with my brother, when I was 14. I am not sure my addiction will ever end.

The band is frequently cited, along with Green Day and the Offspring, as part of the group of acts that helped renew mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States during the mid 1990s. Rancid has maintained a substantial portion of its original audience, much of which is connected to its underground punk roots.
