Miranda Taylor Cosgrove (born May 14, 1993, in Los Angeles, California) is a 33 actress and musician. Cosgrove made in debut in 2003, playing Summer Hathaway in the film "School of Rock." She went on to play Megan Parker in the Nickelodeon series "Drake and Josh" (2004-2007) and then landed the lead role of Carly Shay in "iCarly" (2007-2012). In 2007, she made her music debut, singing the theme song for "iCarly", "Leave It All To Me." Her debut EP "About You Know" dropped in 2009 and her debut studio album "Sparks Fly" in 2010. Cosgrove released a second EP "High Maintenance" the following year. She also produced two songs for the "iCarly: iSoundtrack II" in 2012: "All Kinds of Wrong" and "Million Dollars." Since 2012, Cosgrove has focused on her acting career, most notably voice acting Margo in the "Despicable Me" franchise and making a return appearance as Carly Shay in the "iCarly" revival series (2021-2023), for which she also served as executive producer.
