The group consists of Michael Bernd Schmidt (Smudo), Thomas Dürr (Thomas D), Michael Beck (Michi Beck, also known as Dee Jot Hausmarke), and producer Andreas Rieke (And.Ypsilon). Their manager since 1989 has been Andreas Läsker.
