Valkania is a Balkan Rhythm’n’Blues band based in London, blending Balkan traditions with blues patterns. Formed in 2010, the group has performed across the UK, including venues such as Rich Mix, Jamboree, and the Southbank Centre’s Elizabeth Hall (Foyer). Their sound combines original compositions with a distinctive rhythmic drive, alongside reimagined rock material in their own Balkan style. Their live performances move from melodic, guitar‑based pieces into a bouzouki‑led, high‑energy fusion set. The band features strong instrumental work and vocals in multiple languages.
