Shortly after forming in London in 1989, Suede became one of the UK's most popular bands. While often labeled as one of the "Big Four of Britpop," members of the band have attempted to distance themselves from the term. Throughout its tenure has embraced a diverse range of genres including glam rock, punk, post-punk, alt-rock, and more. After releasing five albums, Suede disbanded in 2002. In January 2010, the band began touring again and in November of that year released the greatest hits album "The Best of Suede" greatest hits album. In 2025, Suede dropped its tenth studio album "Antidepressants".
