Florence + the Machine is a rock band formed in London, England in 2007 and fronted by Florence Welch. In 2009, the band dropped its debut album "Lungs". It appeared on nearly a dozen major "Best Of Albums" lists for the year while the accompanying tour remains the band's longest and most successful, spanning over 3 years with 256 shows across 18 legs. The band's sophomore album "Ceremonials" (2011) featured the band's first number 1 hit single in the UK and Ireland, "Spectrum (Say My Name)", and spawned another successful tour with 121 dates over 14 months. Subsequent releases and tours continued performing well. 2025's "Everybody Scream", the band's sixth album, became their fifth number 1 in the UK with a multi-leg tour beginning 2026.
