He released his first mixtape "Nostalgic, Ultra" independently in early 2011 with his first studio album "Channel Orange" dropping the following year. "Channel Orange" went on to win Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2013 Grammys. Uniquely blending hip-hop, R&B, soul, psychedelia, pop, and other genres both as a solo artist a member of Odd Future, Ocean is one of the most critically acclaimed artists of the 2010s.
