The band consists of Noah Marsters (guitar, lead vocals), Matt MacLeod (keys, lead vocals), Joe Piperato (drums, backing vocals) and Jed Harley (bass, backing vocals). The Heavy Beat uses a strong knowledge of early reggae, rocksteady and dub to put together their unique sound and are known for their impressively tight and energetic live show.
