One of Recommended Records' better 80's discoveries (issued on their short-lived Points East sub-label created to release "new music from central Europe") was this recalcitrant East German unit who combine a low-key brooding R.I.O.-ish simmer similar to Sweden's Ur Kaos with some of the grunt and lurch dissident dissonance of the post-Plastic People Czech school and rake the results across the surface of the sort of thorny garrulousness and irregularity associated with the sound of Chris Cutler's collision with NDW in Cassiber.
