Is this an ongoing list of concerts at the Pomp room? Because there was WAYYY more than 9 concerts there. I started attending shows there in 1994 and from that point on I was addicted to that place. Now REMEMBERING them all or the dates is another story. Too much partying back then has washed away most details unfortunately but believe me this place was consistently popping and on any given day you could stumble upon a sea of red, green, blue, etc heads of hair, Mohawks, liberty spikes. That place was is and always will be the soundtrack to my youth. I found love there. I lost love there. I laughed, cried, and screamed there. They tore it down. The only place we had to go to catch some culture in this hick midwest wasteland town that didn't involve drugs or.booze. they tore down my soundtrack. They probably tore down some kids reason to live without a second thought. For so.e of us that place was the only warmth, the only hug, the only smile in our miserable young street punk lives, and it was bulldozed to make a parking garage that hasn't been used in 24yrs by more than a handful of ppl a day. Just to make us go away. Just to cut out the punk rock riff raff. It didn't work though. Because now we have YOUR jobs. Now we're running the show. Karma. What a funny thing.
