Dee Byard Poe's Concert Archive

Huge Beatles fan, but I also a long time Jethro Tull fan, love The Cure, U2, REM, Tori Amos, Jeff Lynne, and lots of newer groups. Raised on AM radio and have always been a big Motown fan as well.

Dee Byard Poe has 1 The Cure concert.

Formed in 1978 in West Sussex, England, The Cure emerged as a pioneer in the post-punk and gothic rock movements. Its original members included Robert Smith, Michael Dempsey, and Lol Turhurs. Smith remains the only original member of The Cure. Dempsey left in 1979 followed by Tolfurst ten years later. In 1979, The Cure released its debut album "Three Imaginary Boys." It was followed by the more heavily goth-influenced "Seventeen Seconds" in 1980. The Cure's fourth album, "Pornography" (1982) was the first Top 10 in the UK while its ninth studio album "Wish" (1992) was its first Number One. To date, Cure has released thirteen studio albums with its final, "4:13 Dream," dropping in 2008. Some of The Cure's most popular songs include "Just Like Heaven," "Lovesong," "Pictures of You," and "Friday I'm in Love."
