The Skeleton Coast hail from Knoxville, Tennessee USA, a little city in the shadows of the old south's Smoky Mountains. The setting weighs heavy on the music, imbuing it with the lush sensibilty of the rolling hills. But it is a beauty tempered with memories of dead towns, passed up by modern times, waiting to be consumed by the kudzu. The Skeleton Coast is Wil Wright, Jenna Hancock, and Natalie Kimbro, who together utilize a web of guitar, violin, bells, and bass drum to paint pictures. Sometimes they also use paint.
