The music of Tobie Milford has been described as an “ethereal symphony of sound”. It is the result of a marriage between ambient, minimalist string textures, sophisticated plucking patterns, and dynamic vocals. Milford began playing the violin at age 3 and received classical training until the end of high school. While attending college, Milford was inspired by the music of Chicago songwriter Andrew Bird, which led him to return to the violin and experiment with loop pedals.
