The father comes from Afghanistan, while the mother has Polish-Greek roots. He was raised in Germany, where he graduated from elementary school. When Mosa was 15 years old, he and his brother moved to Poland, settling in Warsaw's Wrzeciona. The stage name Malik Montana was born in 2008.
