The Afghan Whigs are a soul-influenced alt-rock band formed in 1986. Most popular during the mid 1990s, the band's biggest hits included "Debonair" (1994) and "Honky's Ladder" (1996). After disbanding in 2001, the group reunited temporarily in 2006 and then again in 2011. Since their second reunion, the band has remained active, embarking on their 40th Anniversary Tour in 2026.
