She gained fame in the 1970s with hits like Mr. Paul McCartney, Er gehört zu mir, Lieder der Nacht, and Marleen. Rosenberg was born into an artistic family in Berlin and had a notable relationship with Ilja Richter in the late 1970s. She has a son, Max (born 1993), who is also a musician.
