1. Wig was formed in 1989 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After two releases on Nocturnal Records, the band parted ways with singer Preston Cleveland (P.W. Long). They played as a trio for a while as a purely instrumental band, then met up with new singer Clark Nova. The band sooned signed with Polydor.
