Motorik, expansive Krautrock duo of Hiroki Oda and Sara Oda, inflected with post-punk and acid house. Their debut 2025 album was recorded in Kyiv with the help of two Ukranian musicians under the unsettling atmosphere of disrupted life brought by the invasion. Power outages, missile alarms, and time spent in shelters while recording shaped the album, creating a visceral kind of journalism beyond traditional reporting. Fear, rage, sorrow, and hope.
