Ecstatic Sunshine was a musical project that formed in 2004 and disbanded in 2011. It began as a guitar duo comprised of Matthew Papich and Dustin Wong (who later left the project to pursue Ponytail and his own solo guitar music). Ecstatic Sunshine has released a number of EP's and albums since that time and has performed hundreds of shows in the United States and Europe with a revolving group of players. Ecstatic Sunshine a solo endeavor by Papich from around 2009 until he retired the name in 2011.
