Showoff is a pop punk band formed near Chicago, Illinois by Chris Envy in 1997. That year, the band independently released its first studio album "...Around The Corner Fudge Is Made". It was followed by "Red Tape" and "Showoff", both released in 1999. In 2002, the group disbanded but reformed on March 15, 2005 for a one-off cancer benefit show. The following year, Showoff reunited again to record the EP "Waiting For You". Afterward, the band remained broken up until 2014 when they reunited for the third time. Since then, the band has released several other albums and EPs and embarked on several short tours, mostly throughout Illinois and the Midwest.
