The group achieved its greatest commercial success between 1969 and 1972 with songs such as "American Woman", "These Eyes", "No Time", "Laughing", and "Share the Land". During this period, they released multiple studio albums that charted in both Canada and the United States. The 1970 album "American Woman" reached number 1 in both countries, and several other releases reached the top ten in Canada.
