His first offering under the moniker Marble Sounds came about in 2007, while residing in Montreal, Canada. That four song EP, "A Painting Or A Spill", tuned into the unabashed nostalgia of bands like Pinback, The Notwist and Eels, layering beauty on top bitter-sweet sentiment. The track 'Redesign' received considerable air play on Belgian national radio (Radio 1, StuBru) and was picked up by the BBC DJ Steve Lamacq.
