Applicants make chaotic indie-pop comprising distorted drum loops, electric guitars, sound FX and vocals, the lyrics seeming relentlessly silly on the surface, but containing some depth if you look for it. Their blood-drenched live show has become infamous after gigs up and down the UK, including a headline slot at Frog.
