Killer Moon is fundamentally a progressive psychedelic rock band, but the Chicago based trio are otherwise difficult to categorize: elements of acid rock from the late 60’s early 70’s, stoner rock, and some good old fashioned Black Sabbath doom can be heard in their music. They weave a complex fabric of sound that takes ones attention without the need for a voice. The intense conversation is between three main characters; lead guitarist Jesse Garza, bass player Amaris Aviles, and drummer Alex Santoyo.
