MJ Guider is New Orleans native Melissa Guion. Her 2016 debut album Precious Systems is filled with muted voices and electronics that emanate as though from behind a mixing-board fog. Yet despite this sonic haze, the album is forcefully clear about what it is, essentially an industrial-ambient singer-songwriter album.
