Gary Mounfield (November 16, 1962 - November 21, 2025), who often performed as "Mani", was a bassist who performed for The Stone Roses between 1987 and its disbandment in 1996. He then joined Primal Scream, departing from the band in 2011 to reform The Stone Roses,. The second iteration of The Stone Roses continued until 2017 when the band broke up for the second time. On November 20, 2025, Gary Mounfield's death was publicly announced by his brother. At the time of his passing, Mounfield was 63 years old. There are other artists that have used the stage name "Mani" including rapper Armani Hughes.
