Elton John Aids Foundation benefit sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe. My friend David Sigler and I sat next to G. Gordon Liddy (1930-2021) and his wife Frances...later at the Hard Rock, Bernie Taupin made the rounds meeting & greeting the fans at the after-show party downtown. Somehow my name and pic were featured a few days later in the Washington Times on the same page as Elton for no good reason. Go figure.
