Starting as a self-taught guitarist in his teens, Seyer began writing and recording songs in his bedroom, drawing on a kaleidoscope of influences to create his distinctive style. His breakout moment came in 2015 with Ugly Boy, a raw and heartfelt debut recorded with little more than a laptop and a few instruments.
