The Isley Brothers, originating from Cincinnati, Ohio, began as a vocal trio in the late 1950s with brothers O'Kelly, Rudolph, and Ronald Isley. Their journey saw a significant transformation in 1969, with other brothers Ernie and Marvin as well as Chris Jasper joining. By 1989, only Ronald remained with the band. In 1991, Marvin and Ernie returned in 1991. Since Marvin's second departure in 1997, The Isley brothers have continued on as a duo with Ronald and Ernie.
