Blitzspeer was a thrash metal/heavy metal band from New York, New York and formed in the year 1988. They released four releases via Epic and one release through an independent label called American Gothic. The first was an EP recorded live at the Limelight in NYC, which was aptly titled Live in 1990. The EP consisted of a few Blitzspeer songs and a cover of the MC5 song Kick Out the Jams.
