Boys Wonder existed in something of a pre Brit pop vaccuum; big brash beats delivered with mod's swank and swagger. Signed to Sire in 1987 they released two singles; Now What Earthman and Shine On Me, both bold statements of intent but somehow swerving mainstream success. An album was reportedly recorded for Sire but never released; the label cut its losses and dropped the band.
