Raw Sex were the comedy band of comedian Rowland Rivron and musician Simon Tracey Brint. They were formed for the BBC comedy series French and Saunders in the 1980s and provided many musical items for the show, including „accompanying“ Kirsty MacColl in the 1990 series in which one single was a part of each episode. Later actor Kathy Burke joined the band as a character.
