She is best known for the disco-era hits "I Will Survive" (1978), "Let Me Know (I Have a Right)" (1979), "I Am What I Am" (1983), and her recording of "Never Can Say Goodbye" (1974). "I Will Survive" has sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling singles of all time. In 2025, she received a Kennedy Center Honor.
