WASREAL (tribe) was a short-lived experimental performing and recording ensemble, based at the “Komotion International” artist collective and performance space in San Francisco’s Mission District in 1988-1989. Members of WASREAL (tribe) were Federico GIL SOLA (drum set, percussion, tapes and special effects), Josef BRINCKMANN (accordion, guitar, percussion, voice), and Hiroyuki SHIDO (fretless bass, big drum). The story of WASREAL was conceived of and written by Peter PLATE.
