Liphlich are a visual-kei band formed in 2007 whose music spans a wide range of genres that are not often staples in this musical scene, making them one of the most experimental groups in visual-kei. The band's original name was Gourdie, but in 2008 they changed it to "Liphlich." Although they have been together for a comparatively long time (many visual-kei bands do not last for much longer than a year), they did not receive much attention from the scene's Western fanbase due to the difficulty of acquiring their cds from their unsigned period.
