Hello Sailor was a New Zealand pop/rock band originally formed in 1975, though its history is long and complicated, with guitarist/vocalists Dave McArtney (died in 2013) and Harry Lyon having first played together in the mid 60s. After several lineup changes, the band released its first album Hello Sailor in 1977. The line-up at this time was Graham Brazier (died in 2015) on vocals and some guitar, McArtney and Lyon on guitars and vocals, Lisle Kinney on bass, and Ricky Ball on drums.
