The Killers are a rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2001 by lead singer Brandon Flowers and lead guitarist Dave Keuning. In 2002, drummer and percussionist Ronnie Vannucci Jr. and bassist/rhythm guitarist Mark Stoermer joined the band. The following year, the band released its first single: "Mr. Brightside."It was a top 100 hit in the US, the UK, and at least a half dozen other countries.
