"Its a good thing Little Volcanoes is a great band, because as far as my family and friends were concerned I gave up being a professional footballer in Chester to be a drug addict in a tenth floor flat in Salford." After answering a band's ad for a singer and attending an audition, Philip Quinn left the rehearsal room where he first met bassist Jon Rose, each disliking each other's music, but hating each other more.
