Oliver Tree (born OIiver Tree Nickell, June 29, 1993 – June 14, 2026) was an American vocalist, producer, and filmmaker from Santa Cruz, California. He signed to Atlantic Records in 2017, after his song "When I'm Down" went viral. His debut album "Ugly Is Beautiful" dropped in 2020 and included the hits "Life Goes On" and Jerk". This was followed by "Cowboy Tears" (2022), "Alone in a Crowd" (2023), and Tree's fourth and final album "Love You Madly Hate You Badly" (2026). On June 14, 2026, Oliver Tree passed away in a helicopter crash while in Rio de Janeiro during his Love You Madly Hate You Badly World Tour. He was 32 years old.
