Big Freedia has stated that they use "he" and "she" pronouns in multiple interviews, identifying as gender non-conforming, fluid, and non-binary. Big Freedia has appeared in many films and television shows, often as her/himself, and released two studio albums, "Just Be Free" (2014) and "Central City" (2023).
