Ozric Tentacles are an English instrumental rock band formed in Somerset in 1983. Their music incorporates elements of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, space rock, jazz fusion, electronic music, dub, world music and ambient music. The band have released more than 30 albums and have sold over one million records worldwide while remaining independent of major record labels. Throughout numerous line-up changes, co-founder and guitarist Ed Wynne has remained the group's only constant member.
