1. Led by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Simon Smith, Wide Boys were from Mosley, a suburb of Birmingham, United Kingdom, which was also the area of UB40. The bands often gigged together in their early days. Wide Boys released just one single: 'Stop That Boy' (1980) on Big Bear Records.
