So why so little data on this killer place My band played there (Agnes Morhead)! Originally when it was “Paula’s Clubhouse” I Fran love that place man, I don’t remember who we opened for then but I do remember our last show at the kilowatt was us old texas a & m presents oak agnes morhead opening for this really cool band I was truly honored to have been booked with, San Francisco’s The Pale Horse!!! They did the posters for that gig I still have that one I’ll be posting here as soon as possible. (It is in with all my other flyers and show posters sitting in the suitcase right over there) anyways yeah it was a tasty poster of the building from Rosemary’s Baby just that, like rooftop shot with our band fonts overlayed. I was so stoked that night cuz i worked my ass off so hard back then making flyers usually two to three different styles per show!!! I’ve only got like maybe 25 posters left of the 200 or so shows my band olayed from 1991-Aug 1995 when I had to cancel what was our first booking at the Original Stork club in Oakland Ca. I was looking so forward to playing at that country Christmas all the time little dive bar the fkn Residents played at. Yeah I cried when I walked in and cancelled in person for the first and last time. Oh yeah Dale Crover saw us play that night but we didn’t perform our tribute to the Melvin’s titled “Melvin-Morhead’ but he was there my fkn favorite musician at the time!!! So I think the last show i might have seen there was my cousin’s band “Further” anyesrnor so after we got to open for them at @the Brave New World” which yeah that one takes the cake for me but opening form Lagwagon was by far our biggest audience ever! All thanks to me first and the gimmie gimmies Mr Joey joseph Cape also lead singer of The not ever lagging LagWagon!!!! They forced The Berkeley Swuare to let us open cuz we had not been booked since our old guitarist stole weed from booker Bailey…. I mean dude only had the worst of the absolutely worst from weed man I mean I did smoke it at times but would I have even stolen weed???? Hell fkn no!!! Anyways i always really thought that was so solid.I remember they rehearsed at our studio in Oakland days before that epic gig with another cool as fk Bay Area punk rock band TILT!! But yeah the Killowatt was of my favorite clubs of all time in sf along side with Bottom of the Hill, Great American Music Hall but my all time favorite place to see any of my favorite bands of the 80’s to 90’s was the infamous never replaced The Kennel Klub!!! I did play in that stage but only after it became shot I can’t remember what it was after but I think it basically turned into a race dance place maybe but it was rad playing on the same stage as almost all my all time favorite bands and overall shows whoever booked for them I’d love to interview for my book on my days living large?! running wild and kracey , falling in love for the first time on a blind date at the Hotel Casa Loma. Boy I really could and should write that fkn book anybody wanna help me find my bandmates. Oh yeah I also really loved the Chameleon Club alright anybody remember me and my ol young lady friend Lisa Houck and or my favorite girl, a real San Francisco local ms Caterina Dwa… and or Jen-i-prefer Benitez!!! That girl was savage but so fkn cute and unique
