That year, he also formed the band Paul McCartney and Wings, performing as bassist and vocalist with Linda on keyboards, Denny Seiwell on drums, and Denny Leine on guitar. While Wings disbanded in 1981, McCartney continued on as a solo artist, releasing his 18th album "McCartney III" in 2020. Including his work with Wings, it was his eighth album to reach the top spot on the UK Official Albums Chart.
