Back in 1988 Wolfgang and Erich decided it was time for a change - after playing several years in a local hero progressive-trash-metal band called "The Hammers" something new had to be discovered, not less complicated but more melodic and fluent. So the signs were right, it just seemed none of them knew what they were searching for. The real change came with Wolfi's six week trip to America: inspired by the deep impressions of the new world and the interesting theories of Erich v.
