Karol G (born Carolina Giraldo Navarro, February 14, 1991, in Medellín, Columbia) is a 35 year old singer, blending a variety of genres including reggaeton, Latin trap, reggae, sertaneja, pop, and R&B into her repertoire. As a teenager, she appeared on El Factor X and released several songs independently. In 2012, she was rejected by Universal Records and began touring independently throughout Columbia. She moved to New York City two years later and was signed by Universal Music Latino two years after that. In 2017, Karol G collaborated with Bad Bunny on the hit single "Ahora Me Llama" and released her debut album "Unstoppable." It was followed by "Ocean" (2019), "KG0516" (2021), and "Mañana Será Bonito" (2023), her first number-one on the Billboard 200 chart. Some of Karol G's most popular singles include "China" (with Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, and J Balvin), "Tusa" (with Nicki Minaj), "Mamiii" (with Becky G), "Provenza," "TQG" (with Shakira), "Amargura," and "Mi Ex Tenía Razón."
