I Prevail is a post-hardcore metalcore band that first rose to the mainstream in late 2014 when it released a cover of "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift on YouTube. The post-punk, metal-infused song peaked at 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the highest-ranking single so far in the band's career. Over the next several years, I Prevail would tour extensively with bands like Hollywood Undead, Pierce the Veil, Neck Deep, and many others. while releasing several albums including "Lifelines" (2016), "Trauma" (2019), and "True Power" (2022), all of which peaked within the Top 50 on the Billboard 200 chart.
