Josh Carter got his start in 2003 when his father purchased a Taylor Big Baby guitar. Instantly captivated by his new toy, Carter began taking lessons and learning to play. Three years later, at 16 Carter began playing guitar for his first band. The band was a critical turning point in Carters musical career and added another dimension to his performances as a singer. After the band split up in 2007, Carter began writing his own music with songs inspired from his own life experience, personal relationships and surfing.
